We are alive!

And we are doing well.
Ainsley at story time with her cousins in november.
Ainsley turned 2 in December! Holy Moly!
Love the cake? I did well thank you very much!

And we had a Merry Christmas. We ate too much. Stayed up too late.
And loved it.
We also got to skype with my brother on a mission.
He will be home in 3 months!
Again: Holy Moly!
Scott is now half way through grad school.
I'm working about 20 hours a week.
Ainsley gets to hang out with Grandma while I work. She loves it!
She also loves going to nursery on Sunday and asks all week to go to church.
She is learning new things every day and currently wants to play duck, duck, goose at any opportunity. She talks more all the time and is starting to use 4 word sentences consistently.
There's your update! It may be 3 months till you hear from us again:)

Good Things to Come

Scott and I watched this and I cried! When life get hard remember that good things are to come! Remember: keep your fork, the best is yet to come.

My goal:

"To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children; to earn the approbation of honest citizens and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to give of one's self; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived - this is to have succeeded."

Dancing Queen

I was listening to Christmas music last night when Scott got home. Ainsley was dancing in the living room. Scott comes in and dances with her. I come to dance too.... Ainsley pushes me back into the kitchen. I was not allowed to dance with them. I stay there for a few minutes and then try to dance with them again. This time she sits me on the couch and tells me to stay. How did I get cut out by my own child?

One Last Hurrah

Shelley put together one last summer hurrah! It had been 80 degrees all week... but that day it RaInEd! It had stopped by then but it was a bitter chill. We did a bonfire and hot dogs.
Ainsley kept running away! Finally we realized she was cold and wanted back in the car!

All snug headed home!
