365 days later

We made it a year!!! They say the first year is the hardest. If that is true the next 59 should be a breeze! But the last year has been so much fun I can't wait. Bring it on as long as I get to be with Scott.
Wendy wanted me to say something so here it goes. We made it a year!!! They say the first year is the hardest. If that is true the next 59 should be a breeze! But the last year has been so much fun I can't wait. Bring it on as long as I get to be with Wendy.

Scott and the Solenoid

I'm going to take a moment to brag about my husband.

For over a month now the sprinklers in our front lawn have not been working. We try to water with a hose but it never gets watered very well. Anyway this week we had a neighbor make a comment about knowing a good sprinkler guy. This ruffled Scott's feathers enough to call someone yesterday, not the guy the neighbor suggested. But the sprinkler guys couldn't come until Wednesday, so he told Scott what was probably wrong with the system. So we headed down to Home Depot, and then to Sprinkler World. But finally we got the part. Scott was so excited to come home and fix the sprinklers. And now THEY WORK!!!!!!! Our poor font lawn may still have a chance, thanks to my magnificent husband!!!!

The fish!

When I was in high school I got five little feeder fish and they didn't last a week. So a month ago we bought some fish for our pond. We bought three and thought the Coons had eaten them. So we bought six more. Then when I didn't see any of them for a week I was sure I had broken my record of 5 in a week with 9 in a week. But the good new is I have broken my record! We have had 9 fish for a month now. And I think they are getting bigger. Holly's family was here this week-end and the little girls tried to catch them. But these fish can hide from coons, and they can hide from little girls.

Peanut butter does it again!

Raccoon # 2

and #3. I hope I'm not catching the same raccoon every night. Notice how the grass gets more and more torn up each time. They pull the grass out trying to get out. This morning there was another raccoon (maybe Mom) trying to help this little guy. They were making crying/ clicking sounds to each other. Hopefully we can get Mom tonight.

You catch more raccoons with peanut butter then tuna

You know the old saying "you catch more flies with honey then vinegar"? Well, It's true of raccoons too. But raccoons prefer peanut butter to tuna fish! We finally caught one of the five raccoons living in our yard. They are so cute- to bad they are so mean and don't make good pets. I understand their fur isn't as soft as it looks either. Oh well. We'll see what tonight brings, maybe we can get the rest!

Scott and I were married July 27, 2007 in the Salt Lake temple for Time and all Eternity! Now all we have to do is make it though the time part of that. If we can do that eternity should be easy! But that said I LOVE being married! I get to live with my best friend for my whole life! And we have fun- we act like little kids sometimes though. We make forts out of our 4 poster bed. We set up tents in our great room. Roast marshmallows in the fireplace! What could be better
