Rite of Passage

We have finally started taking "the small pink one" out a little. I have been so paranoid about germs. I just don't want her to get sick. I have hand sanitizer by the front door, in my purse, the diaper bag, my church bag, and in the car. Just in case. However my prenatal teacher said hand sanitizer doesn't kill RSV. So hopefully we are at least killing the flu bugs. My hands are so dry from washing them all the time.

She went to Stake Conference and to church yesterday. She did really well. I knew I would have to be all ready an hour before so I could feed her and still be on time. We were eating lunch twenty minuets before church started and I said to Scott- We are doing good. We'll be on time... And then she pooped! and it got on her onesie. We had to take everything off. My class had started singing when we got there but Scott was good. I know now not to jinx myself.

When we took her to Stake Conference I was so excited to get to use the mothers lounge. I never had an excuse to go in there before. We were like pros with our "udder-cover" and cute diaper bag. It was fun to get to be with the other mothers and have something to talk about. It felt like a rite of passage. For years I have watched all the young moms, and admired them. I've been so excited for my turn to finally join this elite group. And now I can. The Few, The Proud, The Moms.

Old Fashion Doll

Scott's mom gave us this outfit- I think the hat makes her look like an old fashion doll. It makes me giggle. She has started to stick her tongue out like a lizard as she tries to learn about the world. She was licking her car seat buckles yesterday, yuck!

I had my second trip to the urgent care last week. Why can't I get sick during office hours? Thank heavens for antibiotics, I don't know what people used to do for infections. But I am feeling much better. Lets just hope I can stay healthy now.

Scott is just going to school and working. If he makes it through this semester we can handle any thing grad school throws at us. However his homework last night was to do a restaurant critique, I got to go too. Why did I never get to do that for homework?

I hate it when exercise is the solution:(

I have been soooooooo tired lately, might have something to do with my month-old-cutie. Anyway we are not getting much sleep around here and I am totally starting to feel it. But yesterday and today I have done some light exercise and I feel so much better. Why can't the solution to life's problems be more chocolate instead. Don't worry I tried that too and it didn't work. RATS!

Here is a movie of our cutie so we can stay on Grandma's good side.

Also my fabulous friend Liz made this baby carrier for me. We love it. Thanks Liz! PS everybody check out her blog!
