Girls Night Out

Last night Liz and I went to the Relief Society general conference, did you see us? Were we on TV? Anyway it was an amazing meeting. I really felt rejuvenated after it. It is so neat to be in the building with the prophet, even if there are 21,000 other people in there too . You can feel the Spirit so much even when he just walks in. I was a little disappointed that he wasn't going to be speaking to us, but President Uchtdorf's message was awesome. It you didn't watch it you really need to read the talks. This made me so excited for general conference next week end. Afterwards Liz and I went to the Cheesecake Factory. Which was definately the best cheesecake ever. The food was ok, but you go for the cheesecake, it was amazing! Meanwhile in Provo our husbands played tennis, mario, and ate a DQ, or so they say, the world my never know.

I love the Salt Lake Temple, but I may be a little bias.

And the heisman goes to....

Yesterday Wendy and I had the opportunity to attend the BYU-Wyoming football game in which the Cougars shutout the Cowboys 44-0. Though the game was exciting the highlight of the day actually happened before hand. 1990 Heisman trophy winner, Ty Detmer, was at the pregame festivities and Wendy, Grandma and I got our picture taken with him as well as former BYU great Reno Mahe. I remember when Ty Detmer and other members of the BYU football team came to my elementary school when I was little and read us stories.

Three Dog Night

We went to Three Dog Night concert Monday night. They were the first concert Scott went to . It was at the Twin Falls fair and he was in sixth grade at the time. All I knew before we got married was "Jeremiah was a Bullfrog" and I didn't know who sang it. Since we got married I have learned a lot more. So last night we went to their concert. It was a bunch of 60 year old men in tight pants. But it was a lot of fun. I was really surprised how many of there songs I actually knew. Most probably from living with Scott but it worked.
